Not a fan of the fake wood either and they are blowing sunshine up your a$$ about the in town mileage....but I am sure you know that already and aren't buying a 6 speed Maxima expecting to get Civic mileage.

Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

Nice find, the car is in immaculate condition. Nice job there!

2 things I don't like, though:
The exterior color
The cheap glued on woodgrain everyone's talking about.

Above are just my opion.

Definitely agree with everyone that the seller is BS'ing about the mileage numbers. Get some nicer wheels and get rid of the fake wood and you are all set. Good find.

srry to rain on your parade, but no way man.
Theres much nicer maximas for sale here on this forum for better prices.

and i think those rims are 16's ?? (small then stock ??), and theres no proof that the car has HLSD is there, i thought that was only on 03 titanium ed ?

Also the seller is the type of guy that will tell you anything you want to hear , because to get this picture , he rolling down the highway at 45mph in 6thgear, reset the thing and then took the picture, we all know what avg mpg realy is. I wouldnt trust him.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...QQcmdZViewItem

check this one out. its in NJ and its got a bit more miles on it and not all the bells and whistles like the first one but your saving a lot more money.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-...QQcmdZViewItem

this on has hlsd and 6 spd. about the same mileage and a lot less than 12k. its in AL.

hope that helps.

Yeah, whether or not the mpg is true or not, I really don't care.
That's not why I'm buying the car. I've done my research and not expecting the mpg but if it happens and it's true then voila! I won't be disappointed

Thank you very much!! the car is in PERFECT condition and that's why I think she's worth the $ plus decently low miles

show me! for a car that's gonna last me the rest of the way through college and then some, I'm satisfied. But if you think I can... by all means, Enlighten me.

I'd rather buy a stock max and not risk some dumbass moddin it then running her hard as many do *cough cough*

nicer maximas?? you mean MODDED maxima's.......
i don't think you'll find a nicer max, no rips, stains, scuffs, nothing.
and you're right, on the auction site, there's no proof... but as stated above, I talked TO THE OWNER and he sent me a engine bay pic with proof
PLUS... cross-drilled pedals
and as far as gas mileage, like I said, I had one... I'm not really concerned about that. I'm test driving her monday so we'll see fellas.

I trust him. his wife drove it back and forth to work from ****son to Nashville so with a female driver and all hwy, who knows. mpg could spike.

it's really not an issue. If it's some factory freak then I won't be disappointed, huh?

I did not read all the posts, but the BIN price is too high. I purchased my 03, TE with 48K for close to that price.

my maxima is sold so i dont realy care hat u buy , im just trying to help you out , i know whats out there cause i looked when mine was for sale.

theres plenty of none modded ones, dont count clear corners as being "modded"

I dont believe that maxima has hsld, i thought it only came in 03 ? can someone conferm with me? a engine bay pic doesnt prove anything bro ?

whey would you loose the stock TE 17s for them ugly a$s 16s?

The seller is just tellin u what you wanna hear.

You can find out if it has HLSD by asking the seller to get you the trans axle code which is stamped on the fire wall.

I was wondering the same thing... I didn't know my four doors actually meant coupe! Damn... All this time.

Although it seems nice and is a six speed I would shop around in the for sale section here. At least here, for the most part, you know what you are getting into. Well... with members that have been here for a minute.

Unless the original owner of this car is like 60+ then you know you are in good hands. AARP FTW
