Got SES light on (cant google it and broken link in stickies)

Hi there!

First, I want to mention that I did try to look for previous posts on the subject.
Unfortunately, when I go in the sticky topic "Got Check Engine Light?!?", the link bring me to unrelated old posts...

link 1) goes to http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...0&postcount=91
link 2) is OK (but no link are there for my particular codes P0141 and P0155)
link 3) goes to http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=29351
link 4) goes to http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=368622

weird... I also tryed the broken link procedure (replace show by old in addressbar) but didnt do it.

moreover, I went to Google and asked for "site:forums.maxima.org P0141" and "site:forums.maxima.org P0155" but receive no response...

Anyways here is my question...
What could trigger both these codes at the same time?
P0141 - Rear O2 Sensor Heater (Bank 1)
P0155 - Front O2 Sensor Heater (Bank 2)

I replaced my O2 sensors 1 year ago with OEM ones, so I dont think they might be deffect...
could it be related to another component in my exhaust line or it has to be both O2 sensors?

by the way I run a 2000 Fed specs manual Max.

thanks for your help.

did you try clearing the codes and see if they come back? Also check your electrical pluggs, make sure they are free of debree and the "legs" of the connectors are not bent, coroded, etc.

It might very well be you 02 sensors, just because they were replaced a year ago does not guarantee they will work flawlessly, I had 02 sensors go bad within a few months.

do you have any aftermarket exhust components?

For my exhaust, I had a leaking resonator (whatever that's called, it's the thing after the Cat !!), and I replaced it with a single pipe.

nsnrider: the codes came off by itself a few weeks ago but came back after a few days...
by "checking my electrical plugs", do you means looking at the fuses near the battery? or are you talking about the connectors of the o2 sensors themselves?

I looked further into this, and I would like to take a look at the fuse F47 (J/C-17)...
From my FSM, it seems that it is connected to the F24 (Shield wire Heated O2-S2B1), F26 (Shield wire Heated O2-S1B2) and F27 (Shield wire Heated O2-S2B2), so maybe the F47 is faulty...

Can someone tell me where to find the F47 (J/C-17) (or the F24-F26-F27)???
