I need help.....

I was trying to take out the stock air scoop and while unscrewing the plastic screws at the beginning of the scoop, the screw stripped. By being stripped I mean the head part (where you put the screw driver into the screw) stripped....it became a circle, thus the screwdriver didn't have any grip. Now I can't get the screw out. And someone said that there is a screw by the battery for the intake resonator, but I can't find it. Do I have to take out the battery?? Help!!

those screws are tough sometimes... If you can somehow pop up the center part, you can pull the screw out. If not, you may just have to cut the screw out.

I dont know about finding that one screw but as far as the stripped screw go to the sears tool section, they sale a kit called a screw tapping bit(or something along those lines) what it does is allows you to "drill" into the center of the stripped screw and when you put your screw gun(drill) in reverse it will take the screw out...better yet when you go to sears just tell the handy dandy tool department saleman you got a stripped screw and you need the screw remover kit thinngy, hell know what you need..Good Luck!!
