Help Please

Im hearing a werid sound when im driving. It sound like a liquid sound , like if im using cheap gas or something..... I have a 2003 and when i purchased it about 2 years ago it had about 80,000 miles on it. Now I just hit 100,000 miles. I have never never never used anything less thatn 93 octane on my car. I'm not sure if its a knocking sound, but i put it on the scanner and no codes are poppin up. I have used several gas treatments and card cleaners and still i hear this water sound.... Its annoying already... Its time for me to find the problem. This has been happening for a while and i do not want to go to the stealership.

Any suggestions.

bubbles get into the heat cord.
I think this is very easy to solve by blending your coolent.

Not to steal away from your question or anything. But I am also interested in the answer.

In one car which has always used premium until 140,000mi then started using regular. It started making sounds after the car shut off which sounded like "glug glug glug" kind of like water moving through tubes. After switching back to premium the sounds are still there. Wondered if it could be the coolant like jasonmax said and not actually related to the octane in gas.

Water sound

Sounds like water draining away from heater core. See if you have an adequate amount of coolant in the system. To check, don't run heat and drive the car for a while. Turn car off and see if you get the same sound.
