Hi all. I want to make a 3D model of a 5.5 gen Maxima, but since I can't find blueprints anywhere, I was hoping some of you can help with some good pictures.

What I'm looking for is a Front, Rear, Side, and Top shot, but I doubt anyone has the last one. Higher the resolution, the better it is for me, and shots from further away usually turn out better, since the perspective doesn't get messed up.

I have a '02 myself, but is currently in storage, and I can't really take pictures of it.

And I've checked through a lot of pictures in the picture threads, but a lot of those are heavily modded, or usually angles I can't work with.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well that one front one does help a bit, but I guess I wasn't specific enough. The more straight forward the better, same goes for side and rear. Kind of like this one.

that is the only frontal shot I have of my car, sorry, isn't anywhere near what you want for a rear end... Let me go take some pictures for you...

it is dark, but the flash should be enough give me a couple mins

that an aftermarket spoiler? If so, how much did it cost you?

His car was sitting for a while, so I put my POS rims and bad tires on his car, and took his A33B 17's (had my A32 looking pimp for a week).

Those rear tires are really fun in the snow...

Hey, thanks a lot guys!!! Those front and rear pictures will help quite a bit for sure! I managed to find a side shot of a Maxima, but the part I'm having trouble with, is the part that's wrong. It's a 00-01, so the front bumper isn't right. And in the '02 FSM under the body section, doors, there is a blueprint like shot of the side, but it also appears to be a 00-01. Either way, it helps me get the rough shape of the body done, and then I can fine tune whatever looks to be off. More pictures are more than welcome if you have any. Thanks again!

Thanks for the link, however, I was already aware of that one, and a couple more. I have the body shape made up now, I just have to smooth it out, so it all looks right, now it's kind of a messy 3D shape. Front bumper is being a little bit of a PITA, but I'll figure it out. I made the headlights, but they don't sit right with the body, which means one of them, or both are slightly out of shape. Hopefully I have a little more time this weekend to do a little more work. I'll probably post a picture in here one of these days, when it starts to look like a Maxima.

P.S. While searching the org, I found a few threads about modelers asking for blueprints, has anyone actually made a 3D model of a Maxima? If so, I'd really like to see how it turned out.

 

If you have Sketchup, take a look in the gallery and search for Maxima, there's a nice 97-99 in there.

 

Well, I got a little bit of work done on it, so I figured I'd show you a picture. It needs a lot of work still, and I won't have much time in the next little while, but hopefully I'll get back to it in the next couple of weeks sometime. Something with the headlights, and front bumper is still off, but I'll figure it out eventually.




P.S. I could really use a good side shot of the 5.5 gen, as it would help with the bumper and headlights. Thanks for looking.
