Quick help needed on an Anniversary Edition

I've had an 00 and now have an 04.......a friend of mine is on his way to the Stealership to make an offer on an 01 AE.

I looked it over quickly in the dark and told him what I knew about my 00.......anything in particular he needs to look for on the AE?

Window was slow to go back up.....I assumed it was like my truck and just needed some lubrication on the seal. Is that correct, or do the motors go out on these?

Is there a fix for the faded headlights? My 00 had the same thing....his are really fogged up........

Thanks in advance!

Use some silicone lube spray on the rubber of the windows. Use the plastic restore stuff from Meguirs and a microfiber towel. There are write ups on in the detailing section for the headlights.

My AE windows are a bit slow, but not a big deal. Lube them up with Syl-Glide from a NAPA store. It's great stuff!

I used Meguiars plastic polish on my AE head lights and they look great!

Don't forget the AE headlamps have a bit of tint to them compared to a standard Max. That may be one reason they look a bit different.
