AE Headlight Mod write-up needed

Looks like the link in the how-to is broke, anybody have the instructions to do the custom AE headlight mod? I mostly just need to know how best to rub off the chrome on the inside...

Howto link takes you to VQPower (but they changed their URL format a bit).

But since it was on VQPower, logically you'd go to their main site, go to Howtos, 5th gen, then actually look for the guide.

In any case, http://www.vqpower.com/v2/readarticle.php?article_id=22

I just used warm water and a rag. You can MAYBE try plastic polish or scratch remover....make sure to try it in a small area to see what happens. I didn't want to risk it, thats why i just used warm water.

i know how to do that. by accident.

i thought using alcohol would get the fingerprints and sticky stuff from the tape out.

turns out, alcohol also removes chrome. go figure.

alcohol and cotton ***** ftw/l
