I upgraded my stock 4300k to 6000k to match my fog lights, looks pretty good, and bright!

 

Let me just make sure of something here. I can go ahead and buy my 6K HIDs and put them in my car. then once i get some housings and projectors, i install them and put my already installed HIDs in the new housings. right?

And they would be D2S, so there shouldnt be a problem there either, correct?

 

^ You don't want to put a D2S HID bulb in a H4 halogen reflector, bad idea. You'll have massive glare, probably worse than a H4 HID bulb in a H4 halogen housing. I'd save up and do it all at once.

 

ok so i just bought the ion crystalls from PIAA and they look awesome but no where near HID
however i have a problem. I rewired the fogs and now they blink when the alarm activates. so i am concerned about having them HID with the quick power on/off they will get when i lock my doors. Any thoughts?

i want to do this swap also.
