03 Headlight slightly leaking

I noticed recently that I had some condensation building up in my HID passenger side headlight so I opened up the back of headlight and used a blow dryer to clear it out.Today I finally got a chance to wash my car and as soon as I was done I checked the headlight and sure enough I saw a few drops of water forming on the inside of the lens.My question is,should I remove the headlight and reseal it entirely, and what do I use to reseal it with.Any info is VERY APPRECIATED...Thanks.

I used this stuff called Window Weld, it's black and looks like tar but it works REALLY well. Comes in a tube with a Nascar logo on it lol.

^^^Thanks man.Where exactly would I need to reseal headlight since I'm not sure where it is leaking.I know for sure there are no cracks in lens.

Probably most auto parts stores would carry it, or some other variant of it.

i had a bad leak after i cleared my HIDs. used silicone on all the edges and it went away.

something else i did - weather stripping along the top where the hood meets the headlights. most water enters from there since its the one place that has a gap. that seals out the water. side benefit - it also seals out the air that enters there and causes the hood to flutter at speeds.

when i had a leak, i just put my headlights in the oven preheated to 300 for like7 min, than took them out, and pushed the back and front together tightly.

is it unusual for condensation to build up on the reflector lense above the HID bulb?

THAT IS THE ONLY place where water or condensation seems to be building up at...and its either killing my 8k bulb or the condensation is making it seem a lighter purple instead of the the deeper purple from an 8k bulb

(could any one shed some light on this, because i don't see where condensation is coming in anywhere else)

oh btw sooner, what size stripping did you use? that sounds like a good idea

It's a ballast, and ignitor
