Replacing Engine Control Harness....

Hello all.... I will be replacing my son's 03Max Engine Control Harness next Friday. I would like to hear any tips on getting this done 'EASILY' ! Do I have to remove the dash/glovebox/radio facia in order to unplug ECU and other inside connections?(I have FAT fingers,LOL!) Is there a ECU connector block lock? Any others things to watch for?
Reason for replacement.... car was in an accident years' ago... after fighting with O2 problems for the last 1.5yrs, Nissan Master Tech has found different O2 values while moving the harness slightly... most likely broken/touching wires! Suggestion ...replace harness. So, with good used harness in hand... next Friday!
All replies welcome...
thanks,
Sandy

first of all, year of car?

Anyways, it didn't have to remove the radio or dash components, I was able to get to the ecu and the harness pluggs from the passanger side feet. It is a tight squeeze to get it through the firewall. To get the harness off the motor, just take your time with the plastic clips and you should be fine. It is not a difficult task.

Sorry 'nsnrider', I should have spaced '03Max' to 03 Max. LOL! Appreciate your reply... I thought I would unclip/label the interior plugs, feed out the old harness, then feed in new through firewall and re-connect. (I imagine this to be a PITA! (need small hands!)) Then slowly mount harness plugs and attach/clip new harness in place of old! This is my son's car that he will drive back home for the W/E so I don't have any 'view' time before starting work! I assume it would be best to remove the glove box to provide possible space?
'soonerfan' thanks for your link! it makes it so much easier when stuff like this is provided.
best,
Sandy

The correct term is "asian".....

The term oriental refers to products such as rugs and clothes......

and there might be some asians on this forum who could take offense to that......

thank you for the correction.... I meant no malice. Sorry if I offended anyone, it was not my intent. Although, upon re-reading, I can see where that might have offended some.
my apologies... has been edited...
