People who fixed the front rotors problem on 2000 Maxima, a question?

Did the dealer replaced the two front rotors and pads? Or did they resurfaced the rotors?

I want to bring my car to the dealer and tell them that the steering wheel shakes, not all the time, when I brake. Sometimes the steering wheel shakes at high speed braking, sometimes at the city speed braking.

Thanks.

I resurfaced mine. The shakes are completely gone.

they replaced mine, pads and rotors. I only drove it home from the dealer last night (took the bike to work today) but I would assume the problem is fixed...at least until this set warps.

No dealer replacement, but they turned the rotors for about 68 bucks. No big loss and NO MORE shakes. Besides they stayed after closing to help me. Funny though they said chances are the rotors warped from over tightening the lug nuts. Never happened in my Acura, my Honda, my BMW, my Chevrolet, etc. Only to 2 Maximas lol. The nature of the beast. As long as the rotors do not rewarp Im OK with the outcome. Just dont let it happen again
