Probably a dumb question...

Anybody have an easy or good way to take factory pinstripes off?

use a hair dryer and your nails or a sharp, thin blade. Work the hair dryer on a corner and try pulling up the edge with the blade. Once you get it started, you should be able to pull it all off.

Be VERY careful. We all know about how fragile Nissan Paint is (their secret formula for hardness contains margarine). You might just be able to hit your brakes real hard and they will fly off (and take a layer of paint with them).

Try using a guitar pick.

I know it sounds strange but it worked when I took them off of my Integra several years ago.

Beware if one of the panels has been repainted before. You will be able to take off some of the stripes but not on the repainted panel. (ie.. if they just clear coated over the stripe)
