so i was on you tube and saw the video of the 04-08 NISMO exhaust for se-r's and max's, have to say probably the best sounding exhaust i've herd yet, aggressive low tone but no rasp at hi rpms. wonder if you could get just one muffler for our cars and have a local shop weld on for you.

you won't get that sound with just a muffler.
if you want the sound, you're going to have to get the whole nismo catback package, which come with both mufflers.
then there are the issues of:
exhaust pipe size differences, if they are different
and different exhaust pipe design.

It's 2.5" piping with a Cattman Y...not rice sounding. Only $500 for everything aha. I do plan on changing out to all cattman+headers sometime though so if anyone is interested in it let me know.

 

Jess, doesn't sound ricey but it is pretty loud in the vids.

 

It is pretty loud from the mic on my camera. You can hear the bird chirping and the wind too lol I'll get another one sometime soon. I need to anyway since the IM spacer install makes it sound a little different.
