Was wondering if anyone knows whether the 2000 Maximas have a traction control system, and if they do how would one go about disabling it, but not permanently, say just for 1/4 mile launches...

 

do you have any buttons that state you have this, most namely in the dash area under the driver side vent?

When you are in a low traction situation, does your TCS light emit?

 

why do people not read their manuals

according to the 2000 owners manual, it was an option http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/refgh...san-Maxima.pdf

if you have it, the button is where NmexMAX said it was

you probably dont have it...because of you did, you would have noticed the button

 

Does that meant that none of them had it?
