my co-worker has a 4th gen max. we were talking about a spoiler mod and he said when he was looking at getting one he said you have to change out the truck springs cuz of the added weight on the trunk door. is this true, cuz i having a hard time believing it?!

I think you will need stiffer trunk lid supports for a spoiler....
