Which F.I. Cleaners are safe?

I remember reading in the owners manual not to use fuel injector cleaner since they'll harm the engine. On my Accord I did it every 10K miles, but haven't done it yet on the Max. Which brands/types, if any, are safe to use?

I think that stuff wears out the seals in the engine quicker. I haven't heard of any product like that being good for your engine.

If your car is running fine and you haven't noticed your performance or fuel economy going down significantly then you shouldn't need fuel injector cleaner.

If you buy a good brand gas regularly, it should have enough detergents already to keep the fuel system clean for a long time.

Well no need to do it on our cars just yet, not unless you got more than 60k on the car already.

Secondly I heard that the CHEVRON FI cleaners is the best and safe. Even the dealer recommeneds it.
