Fuse blows, car wont start. Need help
There's a fuse to the right of the battery in my 2000 GLE MAxima. Its called "Eng Cont 2" My car wont start, and it blows as soon as I connect the battery so I've got a short some place but I'm not sure where to begin looking.
I replaced the Starter, and replaced spark plugs sunday. Didnt blow until Monday at lunch. Anyone have suggestions?

Did you disconnect the battery when changing the starter?
Also the starter is made of 2 parts solenoid (small tube) and armature casing big one. When you crank there is current going from the small the solenoid assembly through a thinner wire that goes from solenoid to main starter motor (armature) Also there is a signal wire (thin) that goes to your ignition (ECM)
Now i have a feeling you have hooked those together and therefore frying your ECM fuse everytime you crank. So therefore i would call that as wrong starter installation. Take the airbox out and recheck your connection as one is wrong. Also i would check with another year maxima if you can't figure it out.
This should solve your issues
