change engine need help

I change my motor and now car won't start problem no1 when I put the battery positive terminal on I a'm getting a positive signal off the engine block is this normal but when I connect the negative everything is ok so when I take a test light to check if i connect one end to the NEG without the negative conected and the other end of my test light to the block I'm getting power also I change my flywheel so I don't know if this might screw up the timing

oh lord. you changed your motor? think you're going to need to be more specific to get any answer that will help you.

car will crank but not firing up I reuse my old wire harness,which was fin b4 I put all my old sensors on the the new motor except the the front crank sensor (under the Pully)and the sensor under the intake manifold what's bothering me is that I'm getting a positive signal off the engine block ONLY when the negative terminal of the battery is disconnected

found the problem was a faulty crank and cam sensor

that is perfectly normal as per basic electronics. Any vehicle will do that as the positive will move to ground side untill you complete the circuit by connecting the negative. When you do that positive will move to ONLY before the load.
