Question about Rear Sidemarkers.

Hey all,

I have been seeing a lot of 5th gens with the rear sidemarkers lit up. Is this an aftermarket wiring to a makeshift bulb, or is it stock and my fuse is just blown!? haha Just was wondering, and if so are there any write ups because i am not too clear on how to word that in the search.

Thanks!

Tiler

they are supposed to light up stock. Either your bulbs are out or a blown fuse, etc.

They are 3 Watt LED bulbs that everyone is using. I forget the link but there is a website that specializes in the LED bulb itself and they fit right in the stock harness

Both of my rear side marker bulbs were burnt out when I got my car, so I guess these things are prone to burning out. I replaced them with clear housings and put colored LED bulbs in them...they are clear during the day and look pretty sweet at night (and legal). If you are looking to stay stock, you should be able to find that bulb at any auto parts store. If you are looking to go non-stock, eautoworks.com has a good selection of bulbs.
