Last week my car shut down just as I parked. Earlier my car was running very rough during acceleration. I had it towed to the mechanic. The connector that plugs into the MAF Sensor had corroded. I need help finding another connector.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

Chris

I wish it was the alternator, I could replace that a lot easier.

Connector anyone?
uh what?

To replace the alternator requires almost 2 hours of work, details include:
-drain radiator
-Remove radiator hose
-loosen belt
-lossen ac compressor
-remove alternator and hope you can get it out. cause it doesn't exactly slide out.

To replace a MAF connector and MAF its maybe 30 minutes if that. details include:
- cut wires and attach new connector

Just call DaveB for parts or better yet start hitting the junk yards

How many miles before the alternator died?

I have a 2k with over 90,000 miles on it.

Last year all the dash indicator lights went on and the car died just as I pulled into the driveway.

I thought it was the alternator, but all I did was put a new battery in it and its still going to this day.

Should I be worried that the alternator will go next or is it posssible to go another 100,000 miles.

Just curious, how many miles to expect from an alternator? I believe I have the HD alternator because the car has heated seats, if that makes a difference.

Thanks
