I ran a stock GLE tonite and we were dead even!!... I have to say CAI, y-pipe, catback is all baloney!....... Go fast my A$$!!!

 

Auto vs Stick?

 

Can't be ... he said GLE, the ONLY come in Auto.

But if HE has Stick with Mods, and ran Even with a Stock Auto ... then there's Something REALLY REALLY wrong!

But I doubt it!

 

you sure he was stock? how many people did you/he have? street races have too many variables.. he just has to launch half a second quicker and he has you... punches it 1 second quicker on a roll he has you.. trust me, if hes stock, either your car has problems, or he has some mysteriously fast max.

 

Maybe 2002 and you just didn't notice his lights?

we had 3 people in the car, the GLE had 2.

there was an accord who would run the red light, then 2 seconds later flash his hazards calling victory

 

well then the extra 180 plus/minus lbs did not help then

 

maybe its a rebadged GXE wid manual and a SC?
