Tourque Converter Clutch Curcit Malfunction.

How serious is this?
What should I expect from my tranny?
How soon do I need to get this fixed?

What symptoms do you have? Probably is an electrical issue and not an actual torque converter issue so it shouldn't require the transmission to come out.

No symptons just the flashing of the O/D for 1o seconds and the Service engine light.
Shifts sameway if I take it easy, downshifts on point.

either an entire valve body, possibly restricted passage within VB or solenoid pack.
Very common on 2k0-1 cars, very rare on 2k2-2k3 trannies

Sounds like valve body removal. Labor shouldn't be too bad, parts could be if nismo_star's diagnosis is correct.
