power window issue
The power window on my driver's side just stopped working one day,
All the other windows work fine except the driver's side
the weather stripping looks all okay and it doesnt look like it's imporperly closed or anything.
If I opent the side panel, is there any way I can check if the problem is the regulator or the motor or the regulator and the motor?
thanks

only thing I can think of is remove the switch and extend the wires going to the regulator, and apply 12v directly to the regulator. If you know what your doing that'll let you know if the regulator stills works, and if it does than it may be the switch. I know on the older altimas the master switch would go every so ofen.

I'm pretty sure it's the master control panel on the driver's door! Do you have FSMs? I would apply 12v to the output terminal of the driver's window control switch and ensure the window motor is good, then test the switch for continuity @ the backside of the control panel console! It should involve 3-4 pins....

That stands for (FSM) factory service manual! I put the s on the end cause the factory service manuals are 3 paper back books! If you need a schematic either the libary or someone that has a DVD can send you the needed pages for the main control console schematic! I you what to you this abbrev. there's a post with all the abbrev. and what they mean.
