The SES came on today while driving home from work and threw the following codes:
P0455-EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve Circuit Shorted
P1448-EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve Open

I am concurrently researching this issue, but I feel I have a unique situation with is why I'm posting this thread now.

Unique issue:
Last week after a mishap at jiffy lube

My SES light came on. I pulled:
P0462-Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Low Input
P0650-Malfunction Indicator (MIL) Control Circuit

Due to the nature of the P0650 code, I chose to ignore the P0462 code and just reset the ECU and see if the code returned. Fast forward to today with these new codes. Because the ECU threw a P0650 code last week, I'm not 100% confident in the validity of the codes I pulled today. I'd like to know if there is any way to manually check the health of the vacuum solenoid? I'm not sure if the problem lies with the ECU or the EVAP system and I'd like to figure it out before spending any money.

Tomorrow I will periodically search the forum for previous instances of this problem. The only reason why I'm not doing it now is because I have to get up at 5 for work tomorrow. I need some sleep!
