The bad news is my 97 5 spd bought the farm for now, but the good news is neighbor is selling 2000 w/24k on it :}, so I'll be back in business soon. Can't tell what engine he has yet, but I think its an early 2000 GLE so my guess is its a VQ30 engine and not 3.5? and its definatley an automatic rather than the 5 spd. :{ I had put in rear sway bar in the 97 to improve cornering and had kit to do a CAI install on th 97, don't know if it will still be usable on 2000. What issues or upticks do y'all recommend for my soon to be mine 2000 GLE? and do you know where I can find the FSM for the 2000? I seem to have lost that link. Thanks! V

 

Have you done a search for any of the information you need? There are a bunch of threads that can answer all of your questions.

Also, all 2000 and 2001 Maximas have 3.0 liter engines. The 3.5 liter was put in all Maximas from 2002 to present.
