Speedo not working

Today I swapped out my 01 gxe instrument cluster for the same 01 instrument cluster(dont know if GXE or GLE) and now the ABS light stays on and the speedometer is not working.What is the problem?

have you tried plugging up your OLD ODOMETER? to see if the speedo works?

possible bad cluster?

was it used?
has it ever been tested as working before you got to it?

yes it was used and yes it was supposely tested.but i thought 01 clusters suppose to work in 01 cars but its seeming like from research that the cluster is really a 2000

yea then this may be your problem, im not to sure, as im not aware of the wiring schematics for the 2000 models.....maybe some one else can confirm

u brought a used speedo that the seller supposely tested, you put into your car and it doesnt work. you put you old one back in your car and it works. so what could be wrong? ME THINK YOU BEEN GOT!
