I need help w/ Fed Spec 2K O2 SIM install, somone moved my sensors around? *PICS*
I guess im Fed Spec, which apparently is really abnormal for the 5th gens, all teh threads I have read are for Cali spec, I saw the pics of which wires to splice for the O2 Sim (I already have), and nothing matches up.
I could only find 2 O2 sensors, I do not have the main one that most people see on the left when looking down, I believe the first one I have is the Primary, but the other sensor goes to the transmission. When I route the other downstream O2 sensor up to the engine compartment, it is located in the rear passenger side of the motor. It also does not have the proper wires to tap, the main issue is there is no Ground/Black cable. What to do?
This is the thread I am going off of:

The connector for the O2 sensor at the back of the cat. is under the carpet in the area in front of the back seat. Just follow the harness up from the O2 sensor, pop the grommet and pull out the slack in the harness and the connector.

When I follow the wire from the rear O2 sensor (In the mid pipe/B-pipe I think), it leads back to the engine compartment, in the back passanger side, near the firewall. It looks exactly like the one in the pic though, 3 wires, no ground.

Not sure about your 00 Fed Spec, but on my 03 cali spec, there is a primary O2 sensor port for the rear manifold, and the harness connector is near the firewall, passenger side. Right next to the PCV valve.
Strange thing is, this is for my primary port, not something you want to be simming.
What's your reason for simming?

I am getting the typical downstream O2 sensor failure that everyone gets P0139 (O2, bank 1, sensor 2 I think) (I have stock headers, exhaust, etc.), so I bought the SIM, I just cant find where Im supposed to Tap into.
If you look at that Pic, I only have a Primary right there, and some other sensor that looks like it goes to the transmission, neither of which has the typical wire colors that the threads on here tell you to tap into...
If you look at the thread pics I linked in the OP, most people have 3-4 plugs on that rack mount above the front exhaust manifold, right behind the radiator. I only have 2

The 2k Fed. spec. cars are oddball in that they only have one rear O2 sensor and it's located just behind the main cat., just in front of the resonator. The harness connector is as I described above. If you stick your head under the car on the driver's side at about the "B" post you'll see the harness going through a grommet in the floor just to the left of the exhaust.

*The likelyhood of an O2 sensor needing replaced again down the road is much more likely then a simulator (I've gone through this w/ previous cars)
I bought a dual even though I should only need a single (cost the same)

Ok, found it, So if I pop the grommet, the connector that i need to splice into will come out through the bottom with it? I dont need to go in through the inside, pulling up the carpet do I? Will the 4 wires be there, including ground? Thanks

A Bosch Universal heated (4-wire) O2 sensor cost me about $54 at Advance Auto Parts. It comes with connectors for splicing, so you don't even have to solder or tape anything. If you're willing spend $40+ to splice in a simulator to jury rig it and fool the computer, then why not just spend another $15 and actually fix the problem?
