S-Techs/Illuminas

How does everyone have their's set? I just bought these off a fellow orger and they should be here Wednesday. What would be the best setting to eliminate as much body roll as possible without loosing too much ride comfort. Although with 163K on my stock suspension, I doubt that I could really loose and "ride comfort," haha.

to be honest... With s-techs you will have no comfort. I have the h-tech/illumina combo and I love it.

Probably, but it's too late for me to function properly and think to do something like that.

I ride the S-Techs/Illuminas on a 4th gen. Yes the comfort goes away a bit but you will have no body roll. Now i can shake the hell out of the car and have control on it. I can do 180s in intersects with the E brake like a pro. I had a less of a drop spring and the *** end was loose but with S tech it really tightens it up. I never hit anything so on a smooth road its like butter, but bumps and getting up ****ty drive ways sucks. So you learn to drive it and the drop is sweet looking. I cant stand wheel gap :P If ya want comfort this is not it, for a soft floaty ride go stock. Try it out and if ya don't like sell it again.

S-Techs are too soft for their drop and therefore you will have virtually no travel.

I don't need to worry about "learning" to drive it, here is my other car:

I guess I'll just have to decide when they get here and I put them on the car. I just don't want the car to ride as stiff as my Camaro does. But like I said before, I doubt it could be worse than my stock suspension with 163K on it.

best decision would be to not EVER install those POS springs. Sell them to some sucker who wants the "slammed look" and buy something (anything) else....if you want to be slammed, go coilover. if you just want a mild drop, you can't go wrong with Eibachs, H&R, and others...
