Maguiars Quick Detail Mist

Has anyone used this and if so any luck? Is it like liquid wax? I polished and waxed this weekend with Maguires and I have the mirror shine going on. I want to know if I should pop another $5 and try this stuff will keep the shine on.

It works GREAT! I keep a bottle in the trunk for ANYTHING that gets on my paint such as bird doo, sap, tar, etc..

I bought some EXPENSIVE stuff from Griots' Garage and I've actually switched back to the Meguires. I like the fine mist of the sprayer and the secret is to use 2(1-removal and 1-buffing) VERY soft 100% cotton towels. Otherwise, you'll end up with lots of swirl marks.

I use this too. I love the stuff. I use it for the quick clean ups...bird Sh|+ that may fall from a tree, the bee pollen on the paint, etc... I also use it just wipe up the dust from sitting in the garage.

I think the REAL Original California Duster is AWESOME for removing dust while the car is parked. It's too convienent and makes the car wash last longer.

It's great after each car wash, when you don't need to do a full wax job. Don't use it in the sun (it dries so quickly that tough to wipe on).

I'm confused, does it dry like a waxy subtance? Do you have to rub it in like polish??

Basicly just spray on and wipe it off. It is more like a polish yes.

No.

You spray it on in a mist. Then wipe off the debris. Spray again and spread the liquid drops in a small circle, let it cloud over the surface as it dries for a few seconds. Then easily wipe the cloud off and it's smooth as glass.

Yah, I use the REAL California Duster too. Sometimes there are a few stubborn dust bugs that are more easily removed by the Maguire's.

no, it's not like a wax... more like polish... but wipe off very easy... use it mainly for touch ups... and it smells good!
