The website I saw this and other free test drive offers is
www.funtasia.net/testdrives.html and I just checked it and the Infiniti offer has been crossed out and says removed at Infiniti's request. Arrggghhhhh.....

Yeah...I don't get it. But, Towbin Infiniti probably requested NOT to participate in the program, knowing them.

I was once kicked off the lot late at night. Security told me "You are not allowed to 'window shop' here after hours."

Is there anything particularly special about that dealer in regards to this?

Thanks!

I don't know for sure. But, just because they are offering it doesn't mean the dealer has to participate. They know people test drive just to get free stuff. That's why they don't participate.

My brochure and certificate came in the mail today. I guess I'll have to go to the dealership in the wife's Expy instead of the 02 Max.

I originally got the brochure cuz I was thinking of getting the M100... however, I just picked up a Jornada 525 color ppc from Staples for a ridiculous price of $160!!! Now the headphones are starting to look good all of a sudden... (btw. I like WinCE MUCH more than the Palm OS)

:-)

Actually getting the dealer to give you a test drive is another thing all together.. I suspect that if I jumped into my hoopty 85 buick century cake car and took a trip down to the infiniti dealer, I might get shown the door... A nice shiny 2K Nissan Maxima might get a slightly better reaction (affording the I35 is not a huge leap for someone who already put out 26k for maxima)

-Tom Z.

PS. what kind of snob would go for the wine kit??

this makes no sense at all. the dealership has nothing to lose out of this. the whole point of this promotion is to get people into the showrooms to try to encourage a sale. isnt the gift coming out of nissan's pocket and not the dealerships?

Ya but if the dealership knows that the only reason you are there is to claim your gift, you're not really a customer. (or if they know you can't possibly afford that car). In fact, you are more of a leech, using up their staff and resources on the test drive. I dunno, I just want my free M100 or Headphones..

Hey, for the Altima gift, they gave a phone number to call in case you don't receive it within 6-8 weeks. I lost this number, can anyone provide it to me? Thanks.

Thanks to this thread I ordered my brochure and it came with the gift proposal. My dad is actually looking at the ES 300 so I might actually make him come with me so he can see the power of the I35. I'll let you know how it goes, since I will be visiting said Towbin Infiniti on West Sahara even though my brochure was sent to me in Indiana.

I am still waiting to go to the dealership, no time. I think i will just go to the guy who I bought the car from and ask him to sign the card for the free k/c watch.

Not Lucky

As soon as the promo was posted on this board, I requested the brochure. But I did not receive the promo either. I thought I would be a sure thing since I really am considering going from my 2001 SE AE to the I35. For reference I live in Raleigh, NC. If there is anyone who does not want their certificate, I sure would appreciate it.

Huge debt? Nissan reported a profit today of 1.9 BILLION dollars for the first 6 months ending Sept 30.

Hardly hurting anymore....

Maximas aren't really sitting around collecting dust on the lots...hell we're on own worst enemies by buying the things and then trying to get service to do the must mundane warranty tasks

"mundane warranty tasks"

yeah, like preventing your tranny from gutting itself or the paint from peeling like an over rippened banana.

Cert

Me and a guy at work requested the I35 brochure at the same time. He did not get the free gift vochure and I did. Maybe they are discrimitating by loaction. Also, regarding the peeling paint, I have read a lot of info about the Acura CL and it seems that their paint is not much better. It could be because of the thin sheet metal on both cars to save weight?

I think that it depends on what timeframe you put for buying your new car. If its too long, then they might not send it. If its 4-6 months they might. Maybe everyone who got the offer should post what timeframe they marked.

Just took my test drive last night and got the dealer sticker to mail for my Palm M100. Has anyone received there's yet? I'm guessing this one does not come with the cradle to synch up with Exchange...
