Yeah thats why im asking on here, ive seen a few carbon fibers ones around but i dont know of any websites that sell anything decent looking

What about the anniversary model in 2001....does that have a different shift **** for the auto or is it the same?

The stock automatic shift **** screws off on 5th gens. If you get a Momo one (like I have), it just has a few tension screws that keep in place. You put the bottom cap on, put the **** on, screw the tension screws until it won't turn when you try twisting it, then screw the bottom cap on to cover up the screws. I got the black leather Momo Raptor at eautoworks.com. Check them out...they have a good selection.

Yeah well the raptor is nice looking and all, but it is for a 5/6 speed transmission....

No it's not...it's "universal" meaning it can be used on automatic or manual. I have one on my automatic shifter.

Yea they are way overpriced, but that's what you get with Momo products.

SO even though there is a button on automatics and standards have no button, how am i suppose to put the car in gear? Push down on the ****?

I assume you have a 5th gen since 5.5 has no button. No wonder you wanna change that bulky thing lol Is that button you speak of to take it out of park or for overdrive? Or does it have both?

Sorry I forgot the 00-01 have a push button shift ****. I was thinking all 5th gens have the non-button one.
