Service Engine Soon - Codes
Service Engine Soon - Codes
I really need some help, I recently had my clutch replaced by a buddy of mine who is a mechanic. The clutch is a OEM one straight from Nissan, the flywheel was resurfaced by a professional machine shop who specializes in Nissan Flywheels due to their double piston design. Below I've listed the codes that were shown to me by my OBD II checker, if you have any advice as to what might cause these please let me know, hopefully it is a cheap quick fix.
Code 1 :
P0011 - Crank Shaft Positioning Actuator - Bank 1 : Timing Advanced.
Code 2 :
P0021 - Crank Shaft Positioning Actuator - Bank 2 : Timing Advanced.
Again. Please let me know if you have any tips, I have cleared the codes and it stays away for about 15-25 minutes of driving time.

is there a tone ring on the flywheel like on a 350z? ive seen this on 350z's when someone has done a clutch and flywheel replacement and failed to properly install the flywheel..meaning its not in the correct position....on the 350z flywheel, there are a series of different holes near the flywheel bolt holes. all of them are the same except for one. that one that is different needs to be lined up with the brass dowel on the back of the crankshaft.. havent done too many clutches on maximas but its the basiclly the same engine as a Z car so im just throwing it out there.
