Just wanted to see what other members have done with the ash tray area in their 5th gens. Please post pics and share.

I put my satellite radio into mine. dock sits flush inside so I can close it when not in use, and when the radio is installed, sits nicely against the dash.

Loose change holder for now, but the WB readout sits on there. Now I need to do something cool and make the WB actually stay there as if it were meant to.

How do you have your satellite radio connected to your stereo?

Looks cool. I can't wait until I can afford to replace my stock Bose unit (it's always skipping on my cds and doens't allow line in with mp3 players).

I'm wanting to get a double din dvd player type one, but they're so expensive and likely to be stolen.

I keep my bluetooth headset there. When using the headset, I put my phone there so that I can see the screen on my phone.

Looks good!

You've made a good point. I should definitely think of way to utilize my ashtray... at least put some spare change in there like most people.

Same here, I guess leather doesn't hold the smell like cloth does.

Granted I have the windows down and then sunroof tilted to help too.

Guaranteed it does. You just don't know it because you are a smoker. I can always tell (smell) when I am detailing a smoker's car.

I keep a pack of gum in mine.

Well I don't do it cause it's out of habit. From being so new when I bought it and not wanting it to discolor the headliner. So being leather you're right, it doesn't attract smoke like cloth does. I also have tint now as well, and smoke can eat up the glue and cause it to peel at some point over a period of repetitive smoking, and also discolor like a poorly tinted, smoked in Corolla.

Cleaning the windows take a little more elbow grease as well. Main reason I haven't is, that it kills the air quality in the cabin, more frequent cabin filter changes, and a non smoker can still tell. I've experienced this in my Leathered Legend Coupe. I can now tell a difference in interior.

Either way, I just prefer to not do it, and it somewhat lessens the amount of cigs I smoke. When I smoked in my past cars, I definitely smoked more when I was driving.
