Tried to check ABS codes, not working out.

I have a TCS, SLIP, and ABS lights on. No SES light. Car runs fine. I read that most likely it's an ABS sensor. So I tried grounding terminal 8 of the data link per service manual's instructions but im not getting the abs light to blink. I tried to ground terminal 9 but that makes the SLIP light blink. Im pretty sure i have the terminals right, I checked several diagrams. Any help appreciated.

Have you checked your fuse? Pin 8 goes directly to the fuse panel. Pin 8 should be at the lower left.
