Which ES polyurethane bushings are worth installing besides rear trailing arm?

I have had a full set of ES bushings in my garage for a while now:

front control arm
subframe
front swaybar
and rear trailing arm

I searched and found that the bushing for rear trailing arm is def worth it. But in searching about results for the others, I've read that the LCA, subframe, and swaybar bushings don't do much...

I have 32,xxx on my car so I'm sure my factory bushings are in OK shape, should I even spend the $ to install the others besides rear trailing arm?

Actually the rear trailing arm really isn't worth it unless yours are cracked. If they are you will see grease running down the trailing arm.

You should do the swaybar and subframe. They are really easy and help. My control arms were fine so I didn't touch those. They can be difficult to install and require the remove of the LCA. At that point you would want to get new LCA's and install the bushings on those. That'll make them good for a long, long time.

The subframe and swaybar bushings make a difference? From searching those two were mentioned to be the least useful....?

It depends no the specific issues you are having. When I changed mine out the subframe bushings were toast, but the swaybar were still ok. However, you are talking about parts that are ~$40 and take 30 minutes or less to change out. Maybe not as effective, but very cost effective and very easy.

What is prompting you to ask about ES suspension components?

I've had them for a looong time now sitting, figured it was time to install them. Searched for DIYs and then discovered they do less than I thought

Well since you have them already...install them, at least the easy ones (subframe and swaybar). You shouldn't have to worry about them for the life of the car pretty much.

Now the LCA and rear trailing arms...how adventurous to you feel? Or how much are you willing to pay to have them installed? As long as you don't have issues with the those areas then I wouldn't touch them. Maybe just hold onto the ES parts just in case.

Ya I'll take your advice and do the easy ones, skipping the LCA and rear trailing for when I actually need to replace them, b/c I've been quoted some ridiculous install prices!

The ES bushings for the LCA are not for the ball joint, they are the bushings on the joint that connects to the car frame.

I have to get an alignment done, and at the alignment shop they wanted to charge me over 700. They said my LCA bushings are bad, and since they can't be replaced (which is not true as we know) they wanted me to buy 2 new LCAs and the left Tie rod. I'm gonna buy the ES LCA bushings from Brian Catts, and he knows an awesome mechanic in my area that will install em. Saves a lot of dough NOT having to buy the LCAs.
