What is needed to remove Upper manifold intake?

I need to remove the upper manifold intake to reach the knock sensor because I have the 2001 Cali emissions engine. Will I need to replace any gaskets after putting back the manifold? What gasket(s) or other misc parts will I need to do this correctly? Any help greatly appreciated.

you can sometimes reuse the gasket. It depends on how nicely it comes off. I have installed phenolic spacers on three cars and found that on 2 of them the gaskets could have been reused. On the 3rd car the black gasket material had deteriorated to the point that it was stuck to the manifold and cracking and peeling very badly. Once the metal gasket was pulled away there was lots of flaky black crap stuck to everything and not to the gasket. You'll need a 10mm socket and a 12mm socket and possibly the new gasket.
