After constant problems during a 02' 3.5 swap it was time to purchase a new car. I ended up getting a 03' 6spd black on black maxima...for a steal. Anyway one of the Low beam HID bulbs wasn't working so I went and bought a new one. After I installed it, it still didn't work. Has anybody had this problem and or know any links on how to fix/find out what the problem is? I tried to find some in the how/to's but didn't see anything. Any info would be great.

Its probably the balast if the new bulb wont work that's the only other thing that would cause it not to work unless the wires are cut.

+1 on the ballast. Check all the connections.

Swap the bulbs to test them from drivers side to pass and vice-versa! Have you checked both sets of fuses there's one inside the car driver's side and one next to the battery in the engine compartment!

i call either ballasts.....if the other lights in the headlight (park lamp, turn signal, even high beams) are working then more than likely its a ballast issue

testing the fuses is ALWAYS good to do "JUST TO BE SURE"
