Infiniti I35 0-60 in 6.9 sec!!!
The sweet thing is its a automagic!! It was reviewed in the newest car and driver. It did 0-60 in 6.9 sec, quarter mile in 15.3 at 92mph. makes me wonder what the max 6 spd can do...

It also proves that the 02 auto( Max)is quicker than the 02 Altima 3.5, That was even with the I35, the max should be a tad quicker since it is a couple hundred pounds less than the I35.

The wife and I are thinking about purchasing a 2002 Maxima after test driving both that and the Altima back-to-back yesterday. I can tell you right now that the Maxima has the Altima beat in all performance categories.
I don't know the stats to quote you, but the Maxima is definitely lighter and acellerates much faster. The Altima is longer, wider, and much roomier inside, but did the Maxima ever really lack in these department? I don't think so ... I think that the Altima is too big and has a terrible turning radius.
Once you uncork the exhaust with a real Y-Pipe, Headers, Cat-Back and free up the breathing with an intake. I have no doubt that the Maxima can be in the high 14's or very low 15's. We are going to start saving for a down payment and buy one used this time next year.
