6 speeds in stock?
none of the nissan dealers i have visited have any 6 speeds in stock. you all are talking about test driving them but i havent even seen one in real life. i live 10 mins outside of DC so i figured my dealers would have one. Rosenthal Nissan in Tysons's Corner told me they got one and then sold it within 2 hours. I WANT TO DRIVE ONE! how many 6 speeds do your dealers have in stock at any given time? and how long are they there before someone takes them?

My local dealer here in Colorado had just gotten one the day before I stopped in. The knuckleheads in the sales group had already taken it out the night before and gotten it up to 130, on a green engine. Idiots. I feel sorry for whoever buys that car off the lot, I will NEVER buy a car off the lot, even if they've got what I want in stock.
I haven't checked back to see if it sold, since I went to a different dealership and put one on order, with the HLSD. The local dealer did tell me it was the first one they'd received, so I would think that there would be a fairly good number starting to come in around the country.

Like everyone, I've been dying to get a test drive. Brown Sterling Nissan (behind CarMax on Rt. 28) called this AM so I went over at lunch.

All I can is damn! My concerns about the shifter are gone. It is snickity quick and easy to drive. I think the clutch uptake is a little better than my 2K. Tons better than the Alti3.5. And it's blue!
Now the bad part: no leather, no heated seats, mirrors nor steering wheel, no HLSD, not even bose, (and there's a little torque steer)...and that is the only manual the've received.
According the salesman & mgr, to get the car I want I would need to leave a deposit and order from the factory
------------
Anyway, you might try them if you like...but you better be quick.
