is aiming your foglight necessary?

I just got a set of OEM foglight and installed it on the car today... is aiming it necessary? if so.. how do I adjust it?

Follow the same directions used on this Thread located HERE But set the foglights centerline on the wall 4"s lower than the center used for the lowbeams. Got that?

Basically measure from the ground to the center of your headlamp bulb and subtract 7"s. Then aim your fogs to the center of that line on a flat wall from 25 feet away from the wall.

They will be a whole lot more useful if their light is aimed to fill in the dark space that's closer to the car than what is illuminated by the low beams, which are likely to be aimed a little too low for most usual passenger/cargo loadings as well. Set the low beams to illuminate out to 150 - 200 ft or so and then aim the fogs to fill in underneath.
