how tight should i tighten the control arm nuts?

how much torque should be applies when tightning the nuts on the control arm?

also my dad hit the axel wiht a hammer to take the knuckle out and the thread got messed up what can i do without buying a new one

i got my haynes manual here... it says...

control arm pivot bolts:
89 ft.-lbs. for the front (horizontal) bolt
125 ft.-lbs. for the rear (vertical) bolt
