Hail Damage
Hail Damage
So the top of my car looks like swiss cheese now after a recent hail storm, What can the insurance company do about it ? I have full coverage, but the bank still owns the car, how can they repair it ?
Here is a small vid of the recent hail storm.

Doesn't matter if the bank holds the title. The insurance company will cut a check directly to the bodyshop to cover the damages. If the car is totaled, they pay off the note and you get anything left over.
Just a couple weeks ago I just had my insurance agent cut me a check. I had hail damage on my roof & hood. He ended up giving me $1900 after my $500 deductable. It doesn't matter if you are still paying for the car, the insurance comapany will cover it.
Most body shops will "contract" out to a dent specialist for that sort of work. Generally, they will use a paintless dent removal (PDR) process and take all the dents out one by one. Granted, it will take awhile, but it should look good as new once you get it back.
