After 167K miles and 2 owners, my maxima's driver seat is ready to be replaced. I can now feel the difference in the cushion support between the driver and passenger seat. Along with the leather that has messed up in the wear n tear spots.

I called a few junkyards around and not too many 5th gens here in the Jacksonville Area.

Does anyone know what are the plug and play options for the 5th gen?

Would the Altima, G35 or maybe 6th Gen maxima seats fit?

Any other options? I called an auto upholstery place and they want 400 bucks just to do one seat. For that I'm sure I can get a full set somewhere!

 

i personally would be looking at the g35 or 350 seats...i know they would require some work, but...oem seats..cant go wrong w/ that

From a seat setup perspective, I'm wondering if I would have to re-use seat frame from the maxima so that it bolts up.

Time to start calling the salvage yards!

 

i'd give u a 95% of saying yes..reuse the frame. for a complete bolt up to the maxima frame you'd have to do that.

 

is the g35 sedan and coupe the same bolt pattern?

 

someone already did it and with pics and how to, search for it.
