need your opinion on ebay generic engine mount

need your opinion on ebay generic engine mount

I know I am kind of cheap but well with all the expense I had and I have to stick with my 00 MAx. So anyone had use ebay generic engine mount? How was it? Your opinion will be apprcited.

ok well they look to be around 40 a piece with shipping, and i just bought both energy suspension mount inserts for 90 with shipping. im sure the ebay generic are just like oem and will prob rip again like yours did( im assuming yours did since your looking to replace). i would cough up the extra 10 bucks and get the energy suspension ones,

and i agree with sergey85, you get what you pay for.

I though about ES before, but my mechanic threaten me due to the ES bushing is too stiff, the vibraton of engine was tranfer to the mounting bracket directly and cause breakage.

Then did he try and sell you on HIS engine mounts?

no, he was friend of mine and he recommand to use oem and replace all 4 at once. He said he saw that in person on a civic with poly bushing install. And he saw the engine was "drop" by using generic mount in a max.


So.....anyone have issue with the ES mount after certain period?

a nissan mechanic will tell you that the upper mounts will never need to be changed. The two lowers are a different story. Buy the ES Mounts, you will not regret it. Mine have been on for over a year with no hassles.
