tps on a 03 max

tps on a 03 max

I have a 03 max and my ses light... i think it is my tps sensor.... i need the location of this sensor and how do i remove it...

You "think" it's the sensor.......you better make damn sure......what codes have you? P0222 and P0223 are the associated fault codes. Unless you've gone into fail safe, then I doubt that this is your problem. The sensor is incorporated into the throttle actuator and if it's actually the "TPS", you're looking at a throttle actuator replacement. Checked for loose connectors, bare wires, corroded grounds etc.? Have you disconnected/reconnected the connector on the TB?

Not just the throttle motor and electronics assembly itself (as you can't buy those from Nissan) but a whole new throttle chamber. Pricey from Nissan, cheap(er) from a junkyard.

OP could also have a faulty APPS or two, but who knows until he gets back with the code...
