shift ****

not a big fan of the stock shift ****...too small in my opinion
anyone have pics or suggestions for replacements

i really like the brushed aluminum/ leather one off the 02-03 6 speeds. As soon as i can justify spending $60 on a worthless i'm going to get one of those. probably still too small for you though. just my .02

if your swapping a shifter
go with a weighted one so it will at least have some benefit to the drive IMO

maybe a dumb question, but what is a weighted shifter, and how does it help the drive?

weighted is designed to make shifting faster
Heavy shift means more weight when your throw through gears

Something big and brass! I had a buddy custom fab one for me. It's almost identical to all the Nismo shifters-but it is about 1/4" thicker in diameter, made of brass, uber-heavy-and looks pretty flippin sweet! Now if I could only get my Nismo carbon-fiber shifter to dislodge from car-I'd be flossy!

haha i destroyed my stock shift **** getting it off!

just twist to the left. I thought there was more to it but then i realized im just weak. So i whipped out the vice grips
