Just installed most of my grounding kit.
i just finished grounding the timing chain cover, battery, and alternator. Should i feel a difference? because i honestly i don't. I used the same wires at shinjiduo, sanded all the connection points, and used copper connectors.
i still have to ground my starter, block, and throttle body. Will i defenitely feel a difference then?
edit: my car is manual by the way, so i shouldn't be experiencing smoother shifts like everyone else does right?

The smoother shifts are for the automatic. You could change your driving style for smoother shifts.

I am gradually installing a grounding kit too. Last weekend I grounded the battery and alternator, and this weekend I grounded the starter. I will do the intake and timing chain cover once I get my driving belts replaced.
After grounding the starter today, I did not notice any difference in starting. However, after grounding the battery and alternator last week, I noticed a significant difference in throttle response, smoother RPM and smoother acceleration. It just feels like a newer car.
I must point out that I spent quite a bit of time cleaning up old grounds and the battery terminals which were pretty corroded. I even took apart the positive battery connector, cleaned it with baking soda, and cleaned the tougher parts with sand paper and steel wool. I also removed the paint on the spots where I grounded to the body.
I used really thick 4 gauge wire (thicker than some other 4 gauge wire I've seen) and gold plated connectors.
Not really sure whether the difference I feel is due to the new grounds or from cleaning the old ones.
