Resistor missing on MAF!!!What to do!!!

Removed my MAF to find the resistor is missing! Can I find this resistor if I get the number off it or do I need a new sensor? Btw, car was running find and has been for ever.

Thanks.

maybe it got sucked into the engine !!! jk

if you are refering to the thing inside of the maf that is seen in 02-03 maf's that looks like a metal wire that connects the other 2 metal pieces.. then dont worry 00-01's dont have that there and you dont need to worry.. if you talking about something else well then u lost me so fill me in...

Mine is a 2001 and you hit the nail on the head! I got worried that the resistor either fell out or found its way into the engine.

Thanks
