Ok i just got back from the track my buddys got a 97 pontiac grand am im drivin my 2000 maxima he wanted to race so wth we ran a few 1st motor pass i pulled on him stock block just a home made intake.He has msd ign,accel wires intake,exh,150 shot nos.The 2 other runs he was on the bottle and i could not keep up he didnt kill me by much but he still beat me.

My question is what would i need to do to my car to keep up with him cars has 143000 i was thinking bout rebuilding the block but it runs strong just need to know what to buy before i dump my money into bs that wont work..
