Question about turn signal switch

Every time before you make a turn you switch your turn signal and after the turn as you turn your steering wheel back the turn signal switch is disengaging it self, well mine just stop disengaging it self. Has anybody know why?, will replacing turn signal switch fix the problem (anybody know how?) or it has something to do with the steering wheel?

it is a plastic part behind the steering wheel, not the actual steering column. Kinda hard to explain, you'll have to remove the airbag, then the steering wheel, then the clock spring and then you'll see that plastic houseing to which the turn signal stalk is bolted on. hope this helps.

Actually I think I know what are you talking about (Factory Service Manual helped) but I think I will let dealer fix it (I know everybody hate them - but mine is pretty good) cause I do not have Steering wheel puller required to do this.
Thank you guys for all the help

It's actually not that hard to replace...you only need to remove the steering wheel column cover and there is the turn signal stalk with the base attached. Just unbolt it and unclip the wires then you can pull it out and replace with a new one.
